Bulk Inventory Buyers

The Bright Idea! established 2017

The concept of initiating a liquidation business started from a mindset of  “If they can do it, why shouldn’t I be able to do it myself”  It was a natural progression in the industry that I was determined to call home and become it’s champion!

With the little knowledge I had of developing websites using WordPress, and an intermediate level of SEO I was able to launch ‘liquidateproducts.com’ and long behold, after continuous work on my SEO efforts my blind effort paid off! –  Cue: “Hearts on fire”

LiquidateProducts.com

Our vision at LiquidateProducts.com was to harness technology and leverage our network to capture a significant share of the liquidation market. We specialize in purchasing large quantities of closeouts, overstock, and surplus inventory directly from brands and manufacturers. While our competitors boast significant buying power and connections with well-known vendors, they often overlook the potential of new and emerging brands that share similar needs with established manufacturers. Below are a few highlights of our career.

When Toys”R”Us closed in 2018, LiquidateProducts.com was in its early stages. Thanks to our strong online presence as premier bulk inventory buyers, we were one of only five companies in the U.S. invited to bid on their excess inventory. As a former Toys”R”Us kid, this opportunity was a profound honor. We made a bid on 25% of their inventory for $1.7 million dollars. Though our bid was ultimately rejected, being recognized among the top inventory buyers in the country validated our efforts and vision.

We were contacted to purchase a large sum of inventory from a business owner needing to sell off 435 pallets, totaling 560,000 units across 120 different items. The owner was on a tight timeline, with only 40 days before their warehouse lease ended. I took charge of the project, demonstrating my hands-on approach by personally auditing and sorting the inventory. Over four weeks, I led a team of 12 temporary hires to manage the labor.

We consolidated what would have been 15 truckloads down to 10, efficiently shipping and selling the merchandise in record time. Our efforts ensured that everything was audited, sold, and shipped profitably before the warehouse closed.

In conclusion, I have overseen several large-scale projects from A to Z in the realm of overstock and excess inventory with organizations of all shapes and sizes. Through these experiences, I’ve learned that the principles of successful transactions remain consistent, regardless of scale. Just as 2 x 2 equals 4, the same formula can be applied to larger numbers and more complex transactions to yield fruitful results. By understanding and applying these fundamental principles, I have been able to achieve outstanding outcomes, ensuring profitability and efficiency in every project.
